I remember reading about a japanese ( i think Toshiba produced ) microreactor some decades ago only to find out that it ran on ordinary decay and exothermic reactions. Actually nothing but a fancy battery that converts heat into electricity. Not a /reactor/ in the meaning that springs to mind when reading the word.
