This is amazing. Think of how liberating implants like this will be to people with locked-in syndrome or with less-serious diseases! Personally I've struggled with some RSI. Fortunately I've figured out a good way to manage it, but the thought of loosing my ability to type terrifies me. I could see a mature version of this technology being safe and common enough to be an elective thing; then I wouldn't have to worry about hurting my hands!
