Ask HN: Do you consider Standard.js a real standard?
- zenosmosis 5y agoSomeone opened a GitHub issue calling it "pretentious" and asked to rename the project but it got closed w/ a "U Mad Bro" response: https://github.com/standard/standard/issues/1609 https://github.com/standard/standard/issues/1609 Maybe that makes it officially a standard after all.
- CivBase 5y agoStandard.js doesn't even consider itself to be a "real standard". https://standardjs.com/#but-this-isnt-a-real-web-standard https://standardjs.com/#but-this-isnt-a-real-web-standard
- zenosmosis 5y agoWonder if it makes any difference that the notice is buried 1/4 down the README instead of prominently displayed at the top.
- claudiug 5y agolol no. this is the dude that add ads to his `library` then tell us it was a joke/try.
