Roam was amazing. I stayed at the Tokyo location for a few months in 2018. I was so inspired by my time at Roam that I've spent the last few years trying to figure out how to start up a similar concept and I just raised about a million and a quarter dollars to do a prototype for a first location. I'm in the process of doing user interviews to learn about what people would want out of a similar space. Feel free to email me if anyone has experience living at a Roam or similar environment and would be open to doing a user research interview. Email is in my profile
