Semantic Reader: Show Reference Abstracts in Context, and More
- elektor 5y agoThis is great! I can see this saving me a lot of hours of hunting down the citations. For other people in the academic research field, I would recommend Scite(https://scite.ai https://scite.ai) which provides similar functionality.
- troelsSteegin 5y agoThe 5 minute demo video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yYcQf-Yq8B0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yYcQf-Yq8B0) is compelling. Among other features, it shows generation of a glossary of "nonce" words (paper specific terms) and equation diagrams (mouseover the equations to see the terms defined in place). The available implementation does not appear to have all that in it yet.
- leeuw01 5y agoThis is so cool! I've been wanting something like this since I started reading papers!
- reactchain 5y agoThis is really cool. I can see it being extremely useful for reviewing. The numerical citation style of CS papers has always been a pain point for me.
