Didn't Dropbox used to be E2EE? Is the indexing clientside (like Apple) or serverside?
- feross 5y agoDropbox has never offered E2EE as far I’m aware. I specifically call this out in the Wormhole about page: https://wormhole.app/about https://wormhole.app/about
- londons_explore 5y agoIt would be good to see this indexing and searching done client side. Since there is no cross-user information used, I wonder if perhaps the algorithm was specifically designed for implementation client side...
