The "business value" of software optimization is not well known.
- imhoguy 5y agoI wonder if computing resources peak, which I think we are at now with hardware manufacturing shortages and price explosion (GPUs, HDDs, SSDs), is going to change this perspective.
- EricE 5y agolol - people were saying this in the 80's yet software has shown it can always outstrip the hardware resources thrown at it if one is not careful :)
