Actors are for isolating state, concurrency is a side effect of that.
- ProfHewitt 5y agoActors are for communicating with each other. There could easily be billions of Actors communicating with each other in a system. "One Actor is no Actor." The fact that "there are no variable races in an Actor" is a side-effect of Actor concurrency.
