- toomuchtodo 5y agoAnd perform periodic disaster recovery and restore exercises from those backups. If you don’t know the backups will restore, they’re worthless.
- litoE 5y agoEven if your backups are usually off-line, there must be a period of time, while you are doing a backup, that the backup system is in-line. How do you get around that?
- chiph 5y agoBy having multiple backups over time. The ransomware criminals will sometimes plant the code and let it sit idle, so you want to have a backup that predates that event.
