Would using a VPN prevent the malicious DNS packet?
- swiley 5y agoAuthenticating the remote end of the connection (which all decent software does because using it on other people's WiFi would be very unsafe otherwise) makes it irrelevant.
- throwitaway12 5y agoCould you elaborate on this? I, too, would like to know the definitive answer to this, as I feel like a malicious DNS packet was used against a computer of mine before connected to the VPN. Very serious attack...
