I have the Dot (https://www.thermoworks.com/DOT https://www.thermoworks.com/DOT) and it worked great for many months and during that time I cooked lots of perfect pieces of meat in the BBQ and in the oven. Then it started failing and now it works about half the time, which is really frustrating especially when you’re expecting to hear the alarm and it just never rings. No, it’s not the battery.
