Allow using if (condition) instead of if ( (condition))

  The syntax is simpler if the condition-syntax is restricted or demarcated in some way, otherwise the task becomes more difficult and expensive. Without looking at it too deeply, it reminds me a bit of trying to machine-interpret natural-language correctly.
