I agree about not underestimating the needed effort, but to be fair that service nowadays is absolutely crucial/important for a lot of stuff, private & commercial, involving $$$/lifes (maybe e.g. police etc... run some services over it)/whatever. Probably the criticality/importance of the service must be balanced by appropriate controls/checks/procedures/etc... .
