One more pair to the list ITT: in Russian, reshit means "to decide" but poreshit "to kill".
- Grustaf 5y agoWell, poreshit' is really just the perfectum form of reshit', so the real meaning is just "decide". The meaning "kill" is just slang, sort of like "do someone in".
