Why Do Things Keep Evolving into Crabs? (2020)
- sesuximo 5y agoMaybe this is slightly weird, but I have a fear/aversion/phobia about looking at shellfish... but I’m interested in what this says about evolution. Is there a text-only way to read about this?
- the_only_law 5y agoI tried looking into this a while back, because while I wouldn’t say I have a phobia, odd looking insects, particularly ones that fly and I cannot identify (and even some I can) tend to put me in some sort of fight or flight mode. Most of the extremely superficial googling I did showed that it was at least partially evolutionary. I still find it strange tho, when I was younger I had a sort of curiosity with strange insects and would pick them up, catch them, etc.
