It is illegal for insurance companies to use that data (in the US at least).
- simple_phrases 5y agoNo, it's only illegal for health insurance providers to discriminate based on genetic data, but other types of insurers are free to use it. The legislation that makes it illegal also doesn't apply if your employer employs less than 15 people.
