I guess “emotional stability” is an inverted rebranding of neuroticism as it’s usually known?
- anbende 5y agoPsychologist here. Yes, that is correct. Without the inversion, it is sometimes also referred to as "emotionality" or even "negative emotionality". "Neuroticism" sounds pejorative to many.
