that 71% leaves 29% of _academics_ not getting the elementary math of the problem. I'm baffled this is _that_ hard?
- paxys 5y ago"Academics" is a very loose definition. I imagine a very low percentage of PhDs out there have studied math seriously beyond a middle school level.
- irrational 5y agoThat 29% is probably made up of men that honestly think she should be pumping out babies instead of doing men's work. I wish I was being sarcastic or otherwise kidding.
- antonvs 5y agoI think the lesson is that the are a lot of bad academics out there, who either repeat what they've been told without understanding it themselves, or whose confidence exceeds their ability, Dunning-Kruger style.
