Being seen as white is in fact now a net advantage for Jews in the US, who thus avoid being singled out as a particularly "privileged race". I bet that if statistics separated Jews from the rest of the white population, their success would stick out as the supreme privilege (and proportionally the rest of the white population would be seen as rather less successful). It's an advantage for proponents of critical race theory, too, who would otherwise have to accuse of privilege exactly those who are associated with the greatest possible victimhood, short-circuiting the whole ideology.
