There are a bunch of recently approved new migraine medicines that block CGRP instead of serotonin. I have suffered migraines since my teens and while Sumatriptan provides some relief, it is not great and has to be taken as soon as I get an auora to be at all effective. Stress and high fructose corn syrup, which is in EVERYTHING, are my triggers.
