- mr_cyborg 5y agoThis is awesome. What did you use to handle the location search?
- maxqin1 5y agoThanks! First we simplified the location problem as much as possible, including only serving jobs in the US, for now. Then we zoomed out on the resolution so that all jobs in a town or region have the same corresponding IDs. The search requires using an auto-complete, that auto-complete contains the location ID used to complete a search which uses an index on that ID, and with a little luck provides a quick experience for the user. Does that answer your question?
