Does it matter? Aren’t emboldened assholes just as much a problem? In NYC, a significant portion of the anti-asian perps are African American. The more liberal papers tried hide the details (names, never pictures or demographics) until it became too obvious. Even now, every excuse under the sun is being offered; like somehow, it’s okay or understandable that one minority is attacking another. In speaking with friends, the kicker is that this was always there; just very subdued (micro aggressions) until now. It’s unreal.
