I worked on the Mindstorms EV3 editor. It was an interesting experience where the technology chosen was silverlight and silverlight was summarily EOL'd 2 years into the project. I still have the old kits and can't wait to break them out with my youngest. But I'm certain I'll be using the communities efforts to deploy code to them, and not silverlight :)
