I mean, it's stupid and petty, and she should be punished, but multiple felonies? I could see it if she'd tampered with grades, dropped the db, etc. But cheating to be Homecoming Queen seems pathetic enough to almost be its own punishment...
- obviouslynotme 5y agoModern public school systems have close ties to law enforcement. What used to be children acting like... children, is now rigorously tried in the justice system by DAs who will do anything to "win." The public school to prison pipeline is real. None of my children have or will go to public school. It's worthless at its best. It's life ruining at its worst. This is only one example of public schools flaunting how petty and stupid they are.
- cafard 5y agoA public school system reflects its community. I have known kids who have received excellent schooling in public schools. In general, this has meant that they lived in prosperous districts.
