Reminds me of deep sea ecosystems around lava vents. Still nothing unique, just regular creatures that adapted. Always wondered how deep life goes underground. I read before of vast caves deep underground never explored. But how deep? Seems like it would be more analogous conditions on Mars below the surface than above.
