China’s carbon pollution now surpasses all developed countries combined
- mytailorisrich 5y agoSome people try to exploit this against China. But considering that China's population is probably larger than all developed countries combined and that these countries have sent a lot of their polluting industry there this is pretty normal and expected. They still emit less per capita than many developed countries since they still have large areas quite poor. I think per capita figures and targets, taking global population into account, is more meaningful and shows that we must all individually make efforts.
