I am not from the USA and I read the article to understand a bit more how unemployment benefits work in the US. I find the title misleading, it's the pandemic $300 per week additional benefit that gets suspended not the whole unemployment benefits people looking for a job are entitled to (Pandemic Emergency Unemployment Compensation (PEUC) program and Pandemic Unemployment Assistance (PUA) program). Correct me if I am wrong. Now, is the situation back to normal enough to justify it, should those unemployment benefits stay the same, etc. those are all important questions.
