Working from home has changed my life for the better.
I am so much more free to accomplish the things that need to be done in any part of my life. Whether that's writing code, doing the laundry, or finishing a side project. Everything happens when it is the optimal time for it (apart from the few mandatory team meetings)
I hope every company continues to relax their WFH rules because it is so much better for so many people.
- ariwilson 5y agoI have mixed feelings. I like the freedom and increased amount of privacy I have at home, but I miss having face-to-face meetings, hanging out with coworkers during breaks/after work, having pre-prepared food, getting an excuse to ride my bike a large distance every day, and occasionally traveling to other offices and seeing what they're like.
