The amusing bit about the controversy on this thread is that almost no one would agree to automatically add a footer to their messages that specifies their race, but that's sort of what this does and some people are actively advocating for it.

- JohnWhigham 5y agoAgreed. The Internet is humanity's greatest invention, unlocking bodies upon bodies of knowledge to the world, and yet what do most of the people on it now do? Sit around and complain about the most inane trivial shit like emoji color combinations, or why a massive corporation's comic book movie franchise didn't have representation of some group or something. It's disheartening that people ascribe importance to these things. Every little thing is a massive battle.
