Everyone I’ve ever heard mention those books has talked about them in a very positive light. I’ve never heard anyone describe them as lecturing. The books aren’t what earned them enemies. Their behavior in the last week did. I’ve seen a lot of people on Twitter badmouth Fried and Hansson who admired them deeply until now.
