I've come up with a weird theory that curved space changes which directions are available for particles to choose from. Down has more choices while up has fewer.
The result of any ordinary force acting between 2 particles will change their directions.
Because down has more options, and all observers must agree on the outcome, the result of this change in direction tends to be biased in the direction with more choices.

Unless it's nondeterministic and constantly oscillating, with "forward" sinply having more possible states than "backwards". In that model the universe would be kinda like a block chain, the longer an event is in the past, the less likely it is to be undone by the random walk through the state space. Considering that Spacetime is one unified thing, your weird pet theory to explain gravity is kinda the same than my weird pet theory for time. Nice! :D
- pontifier 5y agoIt's Brownian time!
