Like n-gate, this changed the way HN seems to me. I just looked for an hour yesterday... already on here today I've seen a couple of comments that reminded me of it. Life's too short to spend regular time reading the worst HN comments, or seeking them out and posting them in that channel. But still—once seen, you can't go back to that innocent state. And I'm glad /r/LOLHackerNews exists.
I don't think I'll be going back though. Whereas sometimes HN gets so much like n-gate's version of it, or even moreso, that I feel impelled to go to n-gate to feel saner!

- dvfjsdhgfv 6y agoReally? I like n-gate, but it changed nothing for me. Yes, not everything said in the comments section here makes sense, and some of it is ridiculous, but so what? We need to be critical and use our judgement whether it's HN or any other site (including n-gate!).
- yesenadam 6y agoYes really :-) Well, I guess also everyone reads a different subset of stories and has a different idea what HN is. Don't get me wrong, I love HN enough so that I can even appreciate criticism of it, if that makes sense.
