On the other hand, the author's statement flies in the face of the reality that Chrome's market share at the end of the year was ~1%. ;-)
- nl 6y agoChrome was launched in Sep 2008. It's really, really hard to move market share quickly.
- cbsmith 6y agoIt absolutely is. I'm not suggesting that Chrome was a failure by any means. I'm suggesting that it was far from a broad phenomenon that people just clicked "install" when Google launched it.
