- ajuc 5y agoVery interesting. > Why don’t more plants evolve towards the “grass” strategy? I think the important innovation of grasses was growing like hairs - at the bottom pushing existing structure up instead of growing like "normal" plants - at the tip. Maybe it's hard to evolve that again?
