Personally I feel requiring vaccinations at workplaces (or schools or public spaces) is a step too far, and violates the fundamental rights humans have to health autonomy (making their own choices for their own bodies) and health privacy. Although these are not protected traits in US law, I feel we should protect them legislatively so people are not discriminated against in the workplace based on health choice or privacy. It also doesn’t make logical sense to coerce people to take an experimental vaccine only approved under EUA if a person is comfortable with the risks. I understand the argument that others that can’t get vaccinated may be at risk, but that slim minority is free to quarantine themselves indefinitely or wear PPE everywhere, instead of forcing others to alter their own bodies to accommodate them.
