I found one I inferred from the above quotes but wasn't listed: Rossi was instead interested in using mRNA technology to treat rare genetic diseases which couldn’t be cured by other means. And I'm not done reading. I just know something about genetic disorders and the stuff about proteins hinted at this possiblity in my mind.
