Some companies love to claim how much they embrace diversity yet refuse to believe that it's better for some employees to work from home. There is a large range of neurodiverse personalities that thrive in environments they can control like you can at home.
Refusing to even entertain this possibility is a very interesting play...if I ran a remote-friendly tech company, I would be on the lookout for some seriously talented people right now who are looking for some more autonomy.
- Breza 5y agoYears before the pandemic, this is how our company met its needs for new hires. We went from "everybody must come to the office" to "you must be allowed to work in the United States" pretty quickly and it was great for our culture and product.
