- blakesterz 5y agoI wouldn't say it helps my career as much as it's pretty much required for the work I do. I don't think my work day is typical for sysadmins, I do quite a bit of support and devops and configuration and deployment along with my normal/typical sysadmin stuff as well. We run everything on Linux/Docker so working on Linux is just the best tool for the job. OSX gets it done as well, just not quite as flawlessly.
- mr_o47 5y agoGot it that makes sense. From what I heard most DevOps professionals usually use macosx and some also use Linux
