- failwhaleshark 5y agoIt's the flying tic-tacs that are doing it, or the DoD CoNsPiRaCy covering it up, it's difficult to tell. 99% Mass psychogenic illness. 1% Microwave tuned to harm the inner ear.
- simonblack 5y agoIndustrial Injury. Only commonality is that the victims are Government employees. Using something, or doing something. Better to blame it on 'adversaries' than to be on the hook for millions of dollars of Workers' Compensation payments.
- PaulHoule 5y agoThat "attack" was developed circa 1961 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Microwave_auditory_effect https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Microwave_auditory_effect I would imagine that kinda of thing would be smaller, cheaper and faster 60 year later particularly with recent developments in microwave power electronics. Maybe some Cuban students cooked one up at the E.E. department (are they allowed to import Gallium Nitride transitors?), maybe you can find one on Alibaba if you look hard enough. The "targeted individual" community may wind up vindicated in the end.
- 2342dfasdf 5y agomaybe this tech needs to be conceiled by all actors because if the theories behind the weapons becomes mainstream, anyone could start making powerful weaponry just repurposing home magnetrons.
