- villgax 5y agoSure & JF+DHH aren't? What a shitty workplace if you can't even talk about issues impacting the society. Kinda like keep your head down & keep working, nothing happening outside impacts us.
- joelbluminator 5y agoMaybe Basecamp isn't for everyone, they wanna focus on work and not have everyone constantly arguing and fighting on politics. I understand not everyone likes that.
- villgax 5y agoIf that is the case then they should outright ban verbal communication since you can't filter what comes out of people's mouths but you can preemptively filter out text/have stored data for later analysis, which is what basecamp would love to do.
- joelbluminator 5y agoWhat do you mean? If they said their policy is not to curse and not to be racist you would also say the only choice is banning verbal communication?
- blakebreeder 6y agoRemember all those times slave masters offered 6 month severage packages for them to leave?
