Laughing about customer names != politics, that would not fly in the politics channels I've been in. > an inclusive workplace is one where leadership doesn't have to monitor each channel I disagree with this statement. Just because there are dedicated channels for a specific subject does not mean they should be unmoderated. There should be a code of conduct and at least light moderation / ability to report misconduct just like all other company communication mediums in shared spaces (i.e. not DMs).
