From 2008 to 2014 everyone was talking about structural stagnation and then there wouldn’t be enough jobs and chronic unemployment for a generation. Meanwhile economist like Paul Krugman and Stiglitz were saying additional government stimulus after the financial crisis would’ve solved the problem.
