Neutron Star “Skin” Is Less Than a Millionth of a Nanometer Thick
- gus_massa 5y agoAmazing experiment!!!!! [Yes, I'm breaking the guidelines, but I I think it is amazing enough.] But the title of the press article is totally wrong. [Probably with five additional exclamation marks wrong.] They measured the difference of the distribution of the protons and neutrons inside the nucleolus of plumber, and the difference is less than a millionth of a nanometer. This is important to understand the neutron stars, but it dos not mean that the same number can be used for a neutron star. A better title is "Neutron “Skin” in Plumber nucleolus Is Less Than a Millionth of a Nanometer Thick"
