I'd second this. Too many developer-facing products focus on the call to action being to curl-bash something, without showing them what it is. Showing off the product with clear screenshots is a real differentiator for me - I can understand far more quickly what you're offering from that visual. Making that interactive (in a minimal sense) would be a great next step - demo accounts are nice, but a working demo in the actual page itself would be really powerful - someone looking at the screenshot wondering if it has X option can click it and see for themselves.
