Jeez, imgur sucks. I looked for a minute at an unrelated meme trying to figure out where in its comments your example was, and then I noticed the thin image at the top (yours).
Turns out Imgur adds random stuff under your post, because now it's a social network and not an image host. Validates my decision to make my own image host.
- deergomoo 5y agoYeah, I haven't used imgur for a while and it took me a hot second to work out how to upload an image—a button labelled "new post" is completely contrary to what imgur is in my head.
- StavrosK 5y agoYeah, and AFAIK they took out the easy-upload API as well (last time I checked). It's kind of inevitable when you have to make money, though.
