Facebook, through its digital wallet Novi, is a member of the Diem Association. I'm always amused by the contortionist double-speak of Facebook communications. They put so much effort into distancing themselves from Libra when they launched it, but now they have a chance to take some credit for the work behind it, all of a sudden it's a kinda-sorta Facebook project. Totally off-topic but I can never resist a jab at Facebook. Anyway – great news for Rust. Despite my distaste of FB, I can't deny the value of their open source contributions.
