When Jimmy Carter called on Americans to stop buying on credit to slow down inflation, Americans sent thousands of cut-up credit cards to the white house. This was at a time when cynicism and despair were at absolute heights in America. Joe Biden should ask Americans to stand up and do the same with social media today.
