Apart from the usual bells and whistles of KDE Connect, I have my devices connected to each other over awireguard tunnel. This way KDE Connect works even if the devices aren't on the same network. It was the best thing I did for myself!

Can you please elaborate as to how it can be done? Will putting all your devices in a VPN suffice?
