Apple will keep innovating; for a long period there their A-series chips were more than an iteration ahead of the comparable Snapdragon, but they never slowed down. I'm sure they'll increase the graphics performance and make NVIDIA-level GPUs at some point, probably to drive VR/AR. Maybe they'll try to take the premium server market too (e.g. Graviton for non-cloud offerings).
