This makes no sense to me. On my machine, the desktop Slack client has noticeable input lag and it takes ages to perform any action. Try installing Ripcord and compare them; they are talking to the same API, but Ripcord doesn't make me want to throw my laptop out the window. But Mighty is not a solution, it is just a band-aid that will perpetuate the problem and make UI developers even more lazy because they can assume their crappy Electron apps are always running on a beefy machine in the cloud.
